We already ran jumpers and it went about like yesterday, so I really wasn't sure if it was in time. When I went to check the scores, I didn't see a Q and thought it was very strange that he was over by the exact same amount of time as he was last night. Wait...that was the page from last night! He made it this morning with half a second to spare! We have our Open jumpers title!
We will have a LONG wait now through regular since we've moved down to Novice. I was planning to scratch chances so we could head back, but on the map it looks pretty easy. I guess I will see how the day goes before I decide if we will stay or head back home after regular.
We didn't Q on either of the regular runs. On the first, we went just nearly a second over on time (darn weaves!). On the second, he did the weaves great, but passed a hoop. When I called him back to do it, he went right through it-backwards, of course! Everything else on both runs was great. Since we're still here, I decided to hang out and do chances. Afterall, who am I to pass up 30 seconds of fun just to get to sleep a little earlier tonight?! I don't know if we'll Q, but it doesn't look like a frustrating course, at least.

Has Brad seen a lot of Hoops? If not, maybe you can get a couple for the yard. My son is building me some, since they can now be in several classes.
ReplyDeleteStill a successful weekend for you, congrats on your Open Jumpers title.

No, we don't have hoops in class, so I also wondered about that. We don't have a yard right now (condo), but will hopefully be moving into a house in the next 6 months. I already have weaves and hoops in mind for the new back yard!!
